American Optical

American Optical has been around since 1833 and is the oldest optical company in America. Handcrafted in Illinois, they designed the original “aviator shape” that was born in 1935 for the U.S. Army Air Corps. Worn by U.S. presidents and icons throughout history. JFK wore the Saratoga sun plus many other AO frames. AO frames also were the first sunglasses on the moon. We now have Suns, and Ophthalmics in stock for both men and women.
